There once was a boy, who stood on a hill, quite still, until.

Once upon a time there lived a quiet,

shy young boy.

One day, while in junior school, his class was tasked with making a kite.

At the end of the lesson, teacher took the pupils to the adjacent park, on a hill.

She asked them all to stay in one place, while she tried to fly the class's creation.

Time passed and all pupils, ignoring her command, slowly moved down the hill,

leaving one small obedient boy,

isolated and alone at the top.

The teacher eventually spotted the boy

and shouted for him to join her,

offering him a chance to fly the kite.

He tried and tried, but failed,

while all the class laughed

and ridiculed his failed attempts.
A lifetime later, that little boy,

now an ageing man,

is still trying to fly his kite.

People still laugh

at his many failed attempts,

but one day it will rise and dance

like a prima ballerina in the sky.

It will be a beautiful sight.

The only failure in life, is to stop trying.
